Archie Manning was known as the best "bad team" QB. He wasn't that bad. But his teams certainly were.
Corey: I know a lot of guys who would "look good" in a Bears uniform. QB Bobby Douglass looked good in the uniform. But his play certainly wasn't. LOL
Some people can never be happy. Wassup Caleb has already exceeded all expectations. No one can deny what he was able to do last season. If we actually had a defense who knows how far we could have got in only his second year. Just for the record I wouldn’t want Arch. IMO he just doesn’t look like he has the it factor. You never know if he would transition to the NFL. He struggled mightily in his first season as a starter in college.
I agree with you Corey...for the most part. I think Williams still has a lot to prove. There are inconsistency issues that still need to be ironed out. But you don't get rid of a guy like that who is progressing. The Bears know what they have with him. Winning definitely helps. Manning is totally unproven and I don't care who the QB is. Being successful in college is one thing. And being successful at the NFL level is quite another. If Williams' play falls off a cliff this year, then the Bears have to make some decisions. But, I really don't see that happening.

If Arch did enter the draft this year he would have been the 3rd QB taken in the draft.

In a bad QB draft that doesn't help you prove your point as to how great you think he is.
