Huh? Whhhaaaat? Huge difference between "loving" a former-player graduate over another sutudent-athlete and supporting all the student-athletes (including former player graduates) and appreciating their representation of PSU. Your framing that you can only like and support a singular PSU athlete/graduate is so specious, and ridiculous, it isn't even funny.

Does the word "insufferable" come to mind?

Portal wasn't closed on 12/18...its a lie
Correct after Drew announced his emotion took over and he ran instead of finishing out his commitment for the season
Come on bushy...even you shouldn't be that bad that you're making my argument for me.

More anti-factual bullsheet from you! Again dipwad, there is ZERO proof that BP entered the Portal prior to 12/18 - and tons of FACTUAL evidence that point to him not being in the Portal but PSU would still not let him play. CJF stated in a PC that BP came to him AFTER Drew Allar announced he was returning for final year of eligibility in 2025 - Drew Allar made this announcement via Social Media on 12/16/2025! So Beau WAS NOT in the Portal days prior to PSU's first Playoff game - we FACTUALLY know this because CJF said so in his PC statements! You have no idea what actual day BP registered on the Portal - but CJF's own words strongly suggest it was AFTER 12/18/2024. PSU suspended BP from playing for them BEFORE he formally entered the Portal - CJF stated this in his PC (he stated that BP came to him AFTER DA's announcement but before doing anything regarding the NCAA's silly "Transfer Portal" which shouldn't even apply to him as he was graduating, not "transfering".). The overwhelming weight of the FACTUAL evidence suggests that PSU suspended BP from play BEFORE he actually entered the Portal and that PSU's decision was based on BP going to Grad School outside of PSU in the Winter 2025 Semester and not the actual date he actually entered the NCAA's Fall 2024 Transfer Portal Window (which again, the weight of the evidence and CJF's own statements suggest was likely AFTER 12/18/2024 - your self-serving, made-up nonsense and bullsheet not withstanding.).

BTW, regarding your asinine comments regarding his Major - I know for a FACT that Todd Blackledge was a Communications Major; he seems to have made some real hay for himself with his chosen Major.... OR should we ridicule him as well?

I'm happy for Beau and am rooting for him since he's a Penn Stater...I will always root for pretty much anyone that played for us. Any success he has does nothing to make me think he should have started over Drew, or in any way should give a negative view of Coach Franklin.

Absolutely. Nothing about being happy for him and his success remotely suggests that you (or anyone that expresses this sentiment) believe he should have started over Drew Allar (or that CJF should have started him over Drew Allar). Honestly, CJF stated that BP was a perfect teammate in this regard - always supported Drew and put the team above himself... Yourself, or anyone else, being complimentary of BP does not mean that they can't also be complimentary, and supportive, of DA - the two are not mutually exclusive.

Why bother with him?

Respectfully, why is the improvement of one's life a necessary component of being happy for someone having success who was once connected to the university one loves?

How does empathy in general "improve ones life" - most understand the immortal words, and truth, of the Prayer of Saint Francis which encapsulates the teachings of Saul of Tarsus (who history knows better as Saint Paul The Apostle):

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

It is better, and more courageous, to be selfless and outwardly focused than self-centered and inwardly focused.... but you can't expect a narcissist to understand this (or as the Bible puts it - you must make a choice in life to follow the teachings of Christ [be outwardly focused, empathetic and selfless] or the teachings of Belial [self-centered and narcissistic including lying, stealing, cheating being "all good" if it is self-serving and to your benefit]).

Why? How does it improve your life?
Wouldn't have improved my life if Anisimova won the US Open yesterday, or my son's high school won their football game this weekend...but I was still rooting for them.

(Although, on second thought, Timber Creek has a player that decommitted from PSU, so maybe I should be rooting against these kids)
