Original Beaver Stadium is Youngstown Sheet and Tube steel, because the president of YS&T at the time was Pete Mauthe, a former Penn State AA football player. My grandfather worked his entire career at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, and was head of the machine shop when he retired in the late 60’s. He was the last person who knew how all the machines at the mill worked. My father and uncle also had summer jobs there. This is why Beaver Stadium holds a special place in my heart.

You are not alone in that feeling either of Beaver stadium But according to the experts something has to be done Btw there is a new Yankee stadium as well as other new venues as well , The only constant in life is change

It seems like quite a few fans think the best option for Penn State is to completely replace Beaver stadium with a brand new from the ground up facility. For those of you close to the situation, is this the only viable option to deal with the issues that stadium has? It seems very drastic and costly to undergo a complete replacement, especially if you are looking to make a capacity of approx 110,000. I did assume if we were building a new stadium it would be of similar capacity to current.

There have been three other posts about this It will be up to what ever amount of monies is raised and how the fan response was to the season ticket package ,although I doubt we will ever know the true result of that poll are , The question do you keep putting band aides on something or get it done right
