I think it’s such a ridiculous concern based on fear, not facts. The company that installed the temporary seats routinely does this work, and this installation is considered by them to be typical and not complicated. We have such a population of whiners and alarmists nowadays.

I sat in the new temporary section yesterday. Lots of stairs, but you can take an escalator to the concourse, and then deal with the stairs to get to your seats. Funny moment yesterday, as everybody was standing up for the National Anthem, there was an obvious “swaying” of the section. Immediately, everybody looked at each other with a look of “did that just happen?” I have to admit that I started to think about a possible bad outcome. It was the only part of the day that I “felt” the section move.

I imagine it will really get moving at the White Out when Zombie Nation is playing. You can feel the north upper deck move as well. If these things didn't move and flex, they'd break.

The North Deck has swayed since day one.

It’s fine. It’s meant to do that.

Lost in the discussions about a 3-0 start, if Allar is really any good, the Adidas deal, WPSU, and Neeli's new contract, is the fact nobody has died a horrible death in the temporary bleachers. Yet. Reading this thread made me think it was going to be a blood bath. So far, so good. Or maybe it's been mayhem and the university has kept a lid on it.

You missed one, the scoreboard. Who the hell operates that thing. It's not Lion Jim or the Count. Time of possession clock was horrid, and first downs. Never mind. Barely had the scoreboard right. But. You had to be there. Hopefully the other new components of the homefield work better than these after the remodel job.

Also, who’s in charge of updating the out of town scores. Because cell service is so $hitty, I didn’t know Klimpson had lost until I left the stadium.

Franklin said postgame that the team will practice in Beaver stadium under the lights this week, because the lights are new and the team hasn't played under them. Do we actually have a lighting upgrade, or is this just because of the upper west side being torn down and some new (temporary) lights had to replace the old ones? I figure we're getting some of these fancy color changing LED lights at some point as part of the renovation and was wondering if we might see that show up already against Oregon.

They should do one thing at a time; let's start with the scoreboard. We can get artsy later.

Two weeks before… couldn’t even get an Ohio State - Texas score on it. Pathetic all season.
