Yeah….if you’re strategy is to get the first period fall to get the crowd involved for Bedlam, knowing your guy can’t go more than a three minute match and if it doesn’t work you’re going to look pathetically weak the rest of the match…go with Option B. Always.
The other option was going to lose the 149 match to G and no way Demas was making 141. Thought you'd be in favor of this strategy, wouldve be the start to that 60 to 0 shutout. ;)

Really the whole team wrestled well, but a few that stood out to me...

- Daton was on a mission. Been thinking about his Big12 final from last year apparently.

- G stopped trying that baseball slide single and twice hit a high crotch. Could be big for him going forward.

- I've always thought Young was super technical, but I didn't realize how scrappy he is also. Butler is a big 141 and he had 3+ hours to recover from weigh-ins. Young kept fighting for the takedowns.

- Mantanona tried to bully Plott with hard clubs and head butts. Didn't work. He can't out tough Plott. Dustin broke him at the end.

Would have been a nice start. 😀

But I disagree…I think Moore would beat Gfeller. And I hope we find that out next dual.

From everything I heard before and after, Moore was not available. Demas was the only possible option to beat G and he was not an option to wrestle Young.
