Schooling dudes with a bad back. I like the Willis Reed he pulled returning from a broken orbital bone and shutting up the Pacers. Larry Bird played hurt. He's not a pansy like these load management turds we have today.
Yeah, I always read this site while I do load management. 💥

I can just barely remember the Colonels from the ABA. After they folded I liked the Sixers with Dr J and Doug Collins. I sorta liked the Bullets with Kevin Grevey and Wes Unseld. After that I liked the Celtics until Bird and them retired and since then I don't care much for it.

...who was your favorite NBA team?

The only team I ever liked more than a couple years was the 80s Celtics. Never liked the Lakers. Liked the Bulls when they were trying to get over the hump but then got sick of them. Never cared for Golden State.

I kind of liked these Mavericks until Doncic showed his true colors this series. Ever since half the teams in the league had at least one UK player I just started pulling for those players. I hope Reed and Rob go to good teams.
Just curious, but what "true colors" did Doncic show?

Bulls all day for me, it was impossible not to be with WGN and Jordan as a kid.

Just saw this while looking for info on Dave Cowens after watching the new Celtics city and was curious about the Kentucky kid Cowens.

I don't watch the NBA at all anymore and still love college bb and am a diehard Kentucky fan. Back in the day as a kid I loved watching the NBA. I was a Celtics fan as a 10 year old boy in 82.

Loved watching it mostly in the 80s but my love for it faded after Jordan and the Bulls run. Not sure why, just wasn't blood and guts like I had loved.

Was fun watching Celtics-Lakers, Bulls anybody and The Detroit bad boys. The stories, the players, the beatings and fights. It was truly exciting. I loved watching Mchale. Chief, Dennis Johnson and Bird over the years. I felt like Red and the Celtics reminded me of Kentucky.

At the end of the day the 80s were just a great time to be alive. Sports and all life. What a time.
