Belichick without Brady is nothing. UNC looked awful in every aspect. Belichick is not used to developing players, he's used to getting the best of the best college players and plugging them into an NFL team.

I don't know why he took the UNC job. He can't need the money. Maybe his girlfriend wanted to be around people close to her own age?

I was actually hoping Belichick would have great success there, just because it would have been interesting to watch. Maybe he still will.

Either way, it's guaranteed to be one of the most interesting story lines in CFB this year.

Why would you ever hope the tar holes do well? They are high brow low lifes. Wine and cheese folks with inflated egos. When they are good they fence off the state of NC. Spurrier got some good ones from there. I’m loving their downfall, especially because all the pundits call them CAROLINA and call us South Carolina. Sticks in my craw.

I never cared all that much about North Carolina, one way or the other, aside from feeling like games them were boring and uninteresting matchups.

Unless you were around in the late 60's/early 70s you won't get this, but I dislike North Carolina more than I dislike Clemson. By a long shot.

Someone chastised me for saying I disliked Tennessee more than Clemson. Having lived in the heart of Vol country during the Fulmer/Manning heyday and having mostly Vols fans as friends, the Vols turn my stomach like nobody else.

I can definitely understand that. Tennessee and Clemson are neck and neck in my book.
