Bellarmine to play at Freedom Hall

Just saw on the news Bellarmine has signed an agreement to play their home games at Freedom Hall. At even 15% capacity, that would still be more spectators than a sellout at their current gym.

For this year it makes sense. But I think this is a horrible idea going forward. At best they will have 1/5 to 1/4 of the arena filled. In fact I think they might draw less at Freedom Hall. Their core support comes from on campus and the surrounding neighborhood. I really think this is a bad idea after this coming season.

It's about spacing. Bellarmine could seat around 400 fans in Knights Hall, and they apparently have more ticket demand than that...

Its about spacing this year, which makes sense. The problem is that they signed a multi year agreement.
