I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of them. They look very small and unathletic but they are hanging in there so far.

Bob says they work on it every day. Guess they should work harder. Maybe bring in some really good rebounders to show them the way. Something they are doing is not working.

At a certain point it starts to feel like our team just isn’t good. Like the year we opened up with a loss to Buffalo, we opened up with bad performance after bad performance against schools we usually dominate, then we get to conference play and everyone is rolling us and everyone is being run off the team.

It’s not as dire as that situation yet, but it feels like a team that has a ceiling of NIT.

I think they put a lot of weight on Cottrill and he is not quite ready for prime time. Really need to develop him a little more this year. I like the rotation of Paulicap and Carrigan and the medium O (sabuien sp?) Maybe rotate Bridges and Cottrill at the 4 and then let the Guard side of the world go at it.

I remember that season. We only won like 13 games all together but didn’t we beat Kansas in Morgantown that year?

As per normal. These teams can go well for awhile then that D1 speed and physicality starts to take over. Kind of what happens when we play really really good teams.

If Cottrell and Bridges can get a little more confidence and produce at a higher level we could be something this year.

Easiest blowout of the season for WVU. Take that, Gonzaga, Purdue and UCLA! Glad to see McNeil do well against his former team, too.
allowed way too many backcuts...way too many putbacks...and gave up way too many transitions. add that to the fact that team sleep walked at end giving away a 10-0 run. more like a half hearted sputter than a blowout. as huggs said...we didn't play very good.

Yes, after an 0-5 start in conference play I think, we also knocked off eventual runner up TT in the conference tournament.

2018 lost the first 9 conference games and 10 games in a row because losing to #1 Tennessee. That team had a lot of injuries and dead weight players.

Your post doesn't make any sense, CFE. Why would Gonzaga, which destroyed darlin' Clementine by 42 points, or Purdue, which boat-raced darlin' Clementine by 29 points, be taking anything?
