Last week the game I got to watch was the most physical games I have seen this year. The Bucs were definitely outsized and it showed at the end of the game. When the boys came through the line they looked drained. The score showed something completely then what actually happened in the game. Revolinski hooked up with Morris 20 times for 200+ yards breaking a school record but it wasn't enough for the Bucs. In the second half it was a 20-16 game and then the Bucs were beat up from Auburns size that they couldn't keep up. This Belvidere team could surprise Hononegah this week and Harlem next week and then even 5A when playoffs come around. The Knights definitely have the size up front like a college team which could help them in the playoffs but I can not see them go deep. As for the rest of the NIC 10 last week we saw Hononegah just walk all over Belvidere North which is not surprising. Mark my word North will miss the playoffs this year which everyone even me thought they would make a run in the NIC 10. Hononegah offense shined last week and this week it will be tough because even though the Bucs may be small they have a tough defense. Also the JHawks of Jefferson are 2-2 for the first time in a long time. Coach Ambrogio brought in a offense that is perfect for the JHawks. I have no idea of what is going on in Freeport. In my life time I have never seen a Pretzels team be 0-4. Harlem took a beating from Boylan. First half it was a great game then second half Boylan just ran away with it. 6A needs to be aware now if you are matched up with Boylan you better be ready they are playing with a chip on their shoulder this year. Then we had the ERabs get their first victory of the season over the Vikings. Nothing special but it's defientley a weird year for Guilford. The game to watch this week is the Bucs of Belvidere traveling to the Indians of Hononegah. Going to be a great game.
