I know he redshirted last year. Is he hurt or some other reason he's not see the mound?

He redshirted last year due to injury. He, to my knowledge, is better this year, but they may be easing him in. Up until last night he struggled, largely with his location, and gave up a lot of walks. Last night he had a clean and quick inning, so hopefully that is the beginning of him turning this thing around and becoming a big factor out of the UK bullpen.

Would have like to seen him get one more inning. He did have a clean inning throwing throwing only 12 pitches to 3 batters with a fly ball, grounder , and a K.

I think it's safe to say they are bringing back Jordan with 'kid gloves' type of handling. He is on track to pitch two times a month this season. I look forward to seeing how he does in his second trip to the mound for April. He started out in February struggling to find himself...to say the least. But at this point he appears to be doing well in his limited appearances. In three brief stints he has dropped his ERA from an eye-popping 108, thanks to Texas Tech, down now to 8, thanks to three consecutive appearances with no hits and no runs. Still have high hopes for the large young man.

I don't know how they don't get him more appearances at this point. I, of course, don't know what his road to recovery needs to look like and how he feels after throwing, but you have to think that with the more recent results that they'd have him in there on the mound if they could. We are throwing the kitchen sink on Sundays, and it would make sense to me that he gets an inning or a hitter or two a weekend at the very least.

Yes, I too am a bit puzzled as to his use. But we are not privy to the things you pointed out about how he feels after throwing. You would only have to trust that the staff is acting in his best long term interest.
