I agree. If Kentucky is going to get their asses busted anyways, the head cases need to get the hell out of here! IDGAS if it bruises their fragile egos, don't need locker room cancers.
No more Oweh or Garrison. If Johnson forces another Rucker Park three, he needs to sit for 10 minutes stretches at a time.

Do we really know there are malcontents or are we assuming there MUST be because of how bad the team has played? I've heard people say things but haven't heard or read anything concrete or definitive. I wouldn't doubt it's true, though. There's no doubt, this team has serious issues, and I'm sure some are internal.
There has to be. We’ve seen this team play well in spots. SOMETHING happened before UofL and Pope being a coy boy about it was like “Ok….” But then you get waxed by MSU. Sucked playing UNC and now this.

If it’s true that Oweh slept with Mo D’s woman, he needs to be kicked off the team. Send a clear message to the rest of the team. You don’t stab your teammate, your brother in the back like that. Trust must be earned. We’re not going anywhere with him anyway. He scored 16 points tonight on 3 field goals. The rest was from the FT line.
Pope has to stop hiding this. It’s not going to be fixed all he’s going to do now is ruin his own career. Say what’s going on, dismiss the ones that need to be dismissed, or put them on the bench and explain it. No more of this. I am in my mid 50's, so I am not nearly as reactionary as I was in my younger days. I try and see the big picture. All of the folks...and there were many...calling for Cal's head the last few years, what did they ask for? A guy that loves the program, that will give the best in state kids a chance, who was not a one and done guy who made promises to 17 year olds in order to get them here, then kept that promise, even if they weren't good players. Someone who would build a roster and have veteran players and a program that doesn't turn over the entire roster each year...well, that's what we went and got. And MO did an AMAZING job last season. Most folks saw the empty roster we had when MO got here and most were saying no tourney or .500 record would be understandable. Then Pope goes Sweet 16 in year one. Ahead of schedule. So 9 games in this year, with several key players out for what is a good but not great team to start with, we are having a very poor start. So do I want to fire Pope and start the coach search over again? That would be HELL NO. Im rooting for the kids we have on the court, and watching to see how MO responds to adversity. Did he make some mistakes in recruiting? Yep. But Pope in an extremely sharp guy, and its my opinion that he will learn from those mistakes and adjust what he is looking for in the portal next season. So I have not given uo on this season, and I do believe he will put together a fantastic overall roster for next season. If we don't make the tourney this season and arent back in the mix next year like I expect, them I am fine with moving on after year 3. Dec 6 of year two? Nope, not fair

Beyond the talent concerns, many wondered how he would handle pt and egos of so many guys. He hasnt at all. So cull the herd and lose some dead weight. Ya we'll lose their talent but we will gain effort they weren't giving.
No you are sending a clear message that lack of effort wont cut it. If he doesn't, every class he signs will know they can just hold him hostage.
The sharks are circling in the form of agents and players just looking to score nil. This move is his only chance of ever making it in legitimate big time college basketball, because those sharks dont just swim in our waters.
if we only bench them, they could give game plan info etc out to their agents (then our opponents buying it from the agents) because they are disgruntled. Oweh and BG for sure need to be off the team
I didn’t catch it live but I saw a clip on a private Facebook group, at the last timeout before halftime, 48.2 seconds remaining in half, if you have the game recorded, go back and watch. Mo D intentionally shoulder bumps Brandon Garrison in a non friendly way like something personal. Reading body language, there is some kind of problem there. I don’t know what it’s about but could be effecting the entire team.
