Joe, agree that it sounds like a good opportunity for both practice and bonding, not to slight the food and scenery. Sounds like the freshman will be able to go but how about our newest transfer?

Our former coach did that and it didn't turn out well. Our best player quit the team to avoid the trip.

While it's hard to ignore the Kevin Coble incident in relation to the Summer 2010 foreign tour, season that followed was still arguably the best season in Northwestern history. We won 20 games (an all time program high) and made it to the semifinals of the NIT (an all time program high). It's certainly no knock against the possible benefits of a foreign trip.

2015-16 could be a special season with all of the returning talent and influx of critical new pieces. I am excited about the prospect of CC and team getting the extra practice and experience this coming summer.

Greatest what-if in recent program history. Not sure any defense would have been played, but Shurna and Coble in the same lineup would have been nearly unstoppable.
