Defense stood tall when offense and special teams made mistakes to give LWC good field position.

Look, Benet is solid team and deserves to move on. Bad calls are part of the game and LWC had multiple chances to win and didn't capitalize. It does not help when Ref call a player out of the endzone for a game winning TD catch where he clearly got one foot down with possession. That is the way the cookie crumbles. Benet won the day and that is what matters. But no one should act like one team dominated the other.

I wouldn't say cheat, but there is an advantage when you can offer financial insentive to play somewhere and are not confined by geography. I know...I know...academic scholarships...right. Any if you say "cheat" it is more cheating making a kid sit out year transferring to catholic school. I guess I am saying I think those things are advantages, but there are also disadvantages. Any two schools that play will have advantages and disadvantages over each other. No reason to call them cheaters.

Might be an ACT all star team? I would be curious to know what the average ACT score of the team is. Maybe in the top 5 in the state in all large classes (5A-8A) if everyone reported and calculated the football players test scores?

Then toss in a highly competitive top 10 in 7A football team? Pretty impressive in my book.

Benet current complete team of Seniors ACT average 30.2.

Seniors on O-line are all 32 or higher. One of them is a National Merit Scholar. And all the parents are cutting the same $11,000 plus check for tuition. No academic scholarships as some in the post have tried to insinuate.

If that is the case, and I trust that it is, I retract that being and advantage. Geography advantage still holds. But like is said, I am aware of cons as well. Thanks for the info. Wish I had money to send my kids there.
