Bengals screwed by NFL

They can potentially become the first division champ to not get a home game. They are also totally eliminated from the 1 or 2 seed.

For those saying it’s only fair since Baltimore beat the Bengals, I’d be ok with that if we got the same treatment with KC. Let’s say KC loses and we win this week, KC gets the higher seed and home field divisional game against us despite the circumstances being identical. They lose the head to head, but finish a half game up due to the circumstances. Why no coin flip?

Why is the Bengals Ravens matchup the only one potentially being decided by coin flip vs win % like everyone else involved?
Total joke…

I am sorry but you had to play that game. I am glad Hamlin is ok, very glad, but too much at stake for many teams to not play out that game.

if it had been the Texans-Bears that would have been an easy cancellation, but my goodness, this decision affects so many teams and it can nullify season accomplishments.

Not even a Bengals fan, but they definitely getting screwed.

I'm not a big fan of this crap either as before the injury it was clear the Bengals were taking it to the Bills. We were better than they were and more physical. They were on the way to getting housed. Cincinnati, today, is the best team in football to my eye. The fact that we can throw it all over the field while at the same time still be very physical is tough to deal with on both sides of the ball.

I think the most underrated thing about the Bengals is how physical our receivers are. We beat up those secondaries as Chase is basically a running back when he catches the football and Higgins is a load to deal with as well. We physically beat up the other team and I love that about this team. If you play us man to man Burrow will not hesitate to throw it up for grabs to Chase and Higgins because those two aren't losing to any DB in football.

I am thinking the Raiders beat KC this weekend and that means we would have had a #1 seed. Hate that it all came down to this goofy flip a coin crap but at the same time the whole planet is thankful that kid is still alive so we'll all line it up and play whoever wherever we play.

Been watching the Bengals for 50 years and I've never been more excited about a team.

OK, I was going to let it go with we dominated for half a quarter and that should give us the win but the Raiders beating the Chiefs this weekend. Show me your money line bet on that and I'll believe you think that.

My goodness what a good post. You hit your head this morning?

I wasn’t worried about it because obviously I was praying Hamlin wouldn’t die, but as soon as they went into the locker room I knew the Bengals were gonna take one up the *** from the League.

😂 Dominated? They had The ball 1.5 possessions where the Bills had one. It was 7-3 and the Bengals were on their own 39 with only 9 mins played in the first quarter.

Tee Higgins got tackled on their own 39 yard-line? I don’t think so, Tim. Few more yards and it’s automatic for Money Mac, assuming the snap & hold are decent.

My mistake, I think they were at the 39 and threw to midfield. Regardless, Bills get the ball back and score. They are a top four and five offense in yards ppg where as Cinci has a middle of the pack defense.

They could’ve won but you weren’t holding the Bills from scoring quite a bit.

I don't think anyone was beating the Bengals Monday night. They looked fantastic. Even though Buffalo did drive down the field for the FG our guys were honing in on him. We score another TD then they're all over Allen.

Love this Bengals team. No matter how it turns out I hate for this season to end. I just love watching this team play.

Cincinnati is the best team in football right now. Period. No homering (maybe a little) but the eyeball test says nobody is better than this team right now.

Bengals taking care of business up 24-7 at the half. No doubt they are the hottest team in football right now. Going to KC or Buffalo will be tough but I think this team can do it.

I knew it. The CLASSLESS Ravens have switched to prison football knowing we're going to play each other next week since Buffalo is winning. They are out there intentionally trying to hurt our players.

Announce on the jumbotron we are going to run the football. Have every member of the offense tell the defender across from them we are going to run the football. Then when the ball is snapped hit the guy across from you as hard as you can in the ankle, kneecap, or elbow. In pileups I want you to bite, scratch, nut punch, and grind with your heels.

Time to repay these sorry *(&^(*&^* and put a few of them in the hospital.

No we don't just go for the win. That "hit" on the side of Cappa's knee was blatantly intentional. The Raven loser was looking right at his knee as he dove sideways into it.

Choke, eye-gouge, slash with your fingernails, stomp exposed feet, cartwheel both feet into the face area... prison ball these losers good.

Not if they continue to not be able to score in the second half. Need to show some heart here.

Another o lineman down. Burrow is not getting any protection anymore. Things are falling apart quick with injuries.

Bengals have not responded well to this physical prison football. Must find out which players on the team are from the streets. Put in our shadiest players. Guys that know how to use a shiv. We've got to match and one-up this physicality NOW or we're going home next week.

This isn't football anymore. This is fighting. Rewrap everyone's tape. Put some lead sinkers in there first. Brass knuckles if you have time to smuggle some in. Bear spray on the gloves. At the snap, left elbow comes up hard with a stiff right upper cut right behind it. On the count of two...

Whole Ravens team is assaulting one of our players. Another of our offensive linemen.

You guys think I am joking. This is survival out there. Time to fight or surrender.

This has been the Bengals identity. Build a big lead and then just die. Hope to barely hang on. Feels like Calipari’s style before he just started losing to everyone.

I have come to really like Taylor. Took awhile. But he is awful in situational football. Need a strong offensive coordinator that takes these decisions out of his hands.

We're going to have to play these guys again next week so the game starts now. The guy across from you is taking food off your table. Look at your kids' faces and you'll know what to do. Time for the grown men on this team to bring the pain.

We better do something because right now we can't beat them next week with their full team. They shut us down today with hard physical play. Ton of turnovers, 3rd string QB, reserves on offense and they took it to us.

Not being able to run at all kills us. If they have Lamar then we're going to need to score 35. Bad, bad day for us. At least we avoid the coin flip but they sat all their key offensive players while ours got the crap beat out of them.

The hit on Cappa absolutely was dirty. I hope our guys pay them back and then some.

In the second half the Bengals defense has made Brown look almost as good as Jackson minus the running.

The loser that hit Cappa on the side of his knee, he was getting blocked up high and he twists towards Cappa and as he looks right at the side of Cappa's knee he dives to the side into Cappa's leg. He hit lower than he aimed as the blocker hung onto him but it still crunched Cappa's ankle. I hope to God he can play next week.
