Yeah I get what you're saying, but we still don't have an identity. Something we do well, and can repeat. I've played and coached at the college level, I'm not just pulling this out of thin air.

And yes we are mistake prone, that needs to improve.

We need to be able to pull off the concepts of a spread offense well. Period. No team can rely on a small set of plays unless their talent is head and shoulders about their opponents. It isn't as simple as running option right or option left anymore. Everybody has talent. Everybody has S&C programs now. Your identity HAS to be the ability to execute your offense and defense at a high level. Do that and you'll win games. I don't care if it's a pass first offense like Leach's or a run first spread. Execute and don't beat yourself like we have for the past several years. The penalties and interceptions are driving me nuts.
