Wrong. Fake news. A service dog died, and 2 soldiers were injured searching for him. One was shot in the head and is basically an invalid.

Bergdahl had no business being in the military, let alone in Afghanistan. Dude was OCD and a borderline schitzophrenic. Should he be punished for walking off the base and trying to roll the bus on his commanders? Yes.

But if you're mad over this, blame Trump. His comments compromised the case and influenced the judge's decision.

But the guy essentially has a life sentence of shame. He's disgraced for the rest of his life, he loses all disability entitlement as a veteran, he's got a president who thinks he should be in front of a firing squad, and he has to live with soldiers who lost limb and quality of life looking for his dumb ***.

Dude had to piss on his hands to wash them from the **** he had on his hands to try to eat the scraps they threw at him for five years. So, he gets to live with those nightmares, too.

But I still think he should've gotten some time. Maybe not 14 years, but maybe 2-3.

We gave away high valued prisoners for that sack of ****, at lest one or two are believed to be back to fighting. He should've received death, and Obama should have been put in a room with families of fallen soldiers for a good 30 minutes.

The left is so far out into space that average-smart people in this country today have no idea that the middle ground they seek is actually super extreme. Truly the filth of this nation, total misfits of society who like to pretend they are the normal ones. Not even close.

Yay politics.

Far right and far left are the same kind of crazy on the opposite side of the coin. I wish both extremes would die. That would be very nice.

I'm what this board describes as a "liberal" (in reality moderate - not hardcore right-winger, so automatically labeled leftist) and think ole dude deserves a minimum of a decade in prison plus the dishonorable discharge.

What Bergdahl did was terrible. He got off too light.

Really?? Half this country is full of snowflakes that claim its dark outside if Trump says its sunny at noon.

Let's not forget the other half of this country is full of people who would believe grass was neon orange if Donnie said it was ... in a poorly spelled tweet with Randomly capitalized Words and too GD many exclamation points.

What an ignorant comment.

No. You're the ignorant one. The judge intimated before he made his decision that Trump's comments were going to be taken into consideration. You might want to read a little more, Mark.
