We should most likely beat Charlotte and I'm not being disrespectful to them. This is their first year as a D-1 team and we should be able to win. I'd start and play Barker the entire game. It's at home and he should be able to shine against them, maybe build a little confidence. Then commit to him for the entire UL game. Let him know that he doesn't need to look over his shoulder for Towles to replace him. Just let him be the man for the last two games period. Towles has had that chance for two years now and he can't get the job done. The players played harder for Drew than they did for Towles yesterday. You could see it from the minute he took the field. UL may beat us but they're not very good and if Barker can get some real game minutes he may be able to pull this off and set the stage for the possibility of a better future with him running the team.

I'd hand the keys to Barker also but this staff has a nearly codependent relationship with Towles.
The coaches are too scared to let Barker shine. Towles will start against both Charlotte and UL sadly. Next year will be more of the same.
