There's time
Busch in a can is what I want. It's when it's hot, I'm 15, and there's an old dude hanging around a beer store in Gracey.

I drink Busch Light at home. 2 six packs of 16 oz. for 8 bucks at Marathon nearby. Bud Lite gives me a headache. I can't remember the last time I saw anyone drink regular Busch though. I go for Amberbock drafts or Bud at happy hour.
Worked with a Wisconsin guy that swore by the stuff but price and the tendency to pick a fight afterwards make strange bedfellows given the ABV.

I honestly just do vodka and club.. I can get a nice buzz, still maintain healthy weight and have minimal hangover (club and ice for hydration)... it's a good way to have both lives.
I seldom drink whiskey these days. My brown liquor of choice is cognac. But when I do, club is a MUST. It really does keep the hangover down

Second the Bota Box wine. My wife drinks Bota pinot grigio and for $18.99 for the equivalent of 4 bottles its a deal. Plus it can sit in the fridge for weeks and not go bad. Bourbon for mixing... Evan Williams at about $22 a handle. For cheap sipping I like Elijah Craig small batch.

Just an aside, especially for the ladies, try vanilla vodka and cherry 7up.

I used to be able to get a fifth of this:

For $13 at a ghetto CVS store for several months until they realized their pricing error. I still have wet dreams thinking about it. Still a fairly good, not as expensive option whether priced right or not.

This probably isn't what you were getting at, but this is my favorite bourbon on a budget ($20/handle). Flies off the shelf these days so I'm guessing I'm not alone:

That's what my redneck *** drinks. I drank 3/4 of a bottle and two Four Lokos one night, woke up in a running shower throwing up on myself.

Had some serious headaches drinking that swill...I was young and in great shape back then.

I have a friend that will seek out Busch beer when we watch the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. There is only one vendor that sells it in all of that place. It's on the first base side of the upper deck for those interested.

I could drink it, but I'd have a hangover before the game was over.

I'm wit ya, not sure how that brand is still in business. I guess it takes all kinds. At this point I'd do without "that stuff" if that was all there was available and just not drink.
