Too many to list. Seriously. I could go on for hours.

My sentimental favorite comes from the German group "Wind". They represented Germany at the Eurovision song contest, placing 2nd twice (1985, 1987) and 16th once (1992). I watched this particular broadcast with my ex-wife back in 1986.

The attractive young lady with infectious smile standing left is Petra Scheeser. She performed several years with the group.

At the 02 second mark, watch lower right-hand corner. A flower presenter walks out a bit too early and is awkwardly yanked back for another. Ha ha, too funny. Ex and I both laughed our butts off.

Fun fact: Rob Pilatus of Milli Vanilli fame (infamy) was a former Wind band member during 1987 Eurovison competition.

If rap can be called a "song", then I'll take the liberty to include another genre of actual music. Anything by Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Brams, or any of the other numerous famous Baroque and Classical composers. Germans may not produce much pop **** hits, but historically, they have an impressive record in music.

Speaking of German battle anthems, best version I can find of SS Marschiert in Feindesland - Teufelslied, ("SS marches in enemy territory" - Devil's Song) is linked at the Internet Archive. Love the old colorized footage. I believe Teufelslied is banned in Germany and Austria, but Panzerlied is still performed and sung by Bundeswehr and police units.

Their lyrics are always in English but they're my favorite German band

Always loved these bangers from Rammstein as well:
