I wasn't around for these days.





I barely remember these guys.





At the time, I couldn't think of a late night without them.






Doc(played his last concert at 95 back in 8/22), Tommy Newsom(died 2007 at 78) and Ed Shaughnessy(died 2013 at 84) were the only names that I remember from the last tv big band.

There were lots of talent in that group. That first night that the show was with Jay Leno I was shocked that the band was gone and replaced.🤣🤣🤣

I like a lot of the intro’s already posted. But I’m also a huge fan of the lead-in on TV shows (before the intro music). The Office & Brooklyn 99 are two of my favorites in that regard.
