Most RRians are too young to remember Checkmate, but it was a fine show that ran in the early 60s. I watched it and later discovered the spy novels of the man who invented the show, Eric Ambler. I think Lynch and Frost must have watched the show and used its credit font for Twin Peaks.

The Six Million Dollar Man did a lot of narrative work. Solid song. Definitely worthy of the list.

The World at War and WW 2 in Colour are both great.

Whoever made the video about the World at War claimed the little boy in the video was dead, and apparently he's British, Aussie now, and very alive or was 3 years ago.
