I used to love frosted cherry and chocolate fudge but can't eat the things now. I still buy them for my kids but they give me weird indigestion, heartburn, and nausea. It happens with every variety and is pretty severe. No other food does this to me.

My kids saw the new orange and root beer flavors at the grocery and wanted no part of them.

The key was microwaving the strudel for 15 seconds first, then finishing in the toaster.

Put the icing on the edge of the toaster while its cooking, as long as your not melting the plastic it gives enough heat to soften it.

I miss the original cinnamon toaster strudel, the Cinnabon cinnamon roll isn't the same. Also, the PB&J ones are terrible.

Smore flavor ftw

Also, toaster strudels put pop tarts to shame. Little more work getting that icing just right, but totally worth it.
Another vote for smores. I don't even buy them because I like them so well.

Two step toaster strudel prep ... Probably should throw in some sous-vide just to be safe. Finish off with the blowtorch.

The pro move is icing packet under the toaster.
Kenji approves this post. Link below to his 9,000-word pop-tart deconstruction.

I won't even sniff cheese if it ain't posh af. Lord help da ***** that gets in the way of my posh cheeses.

I was thinking deep thoughts last night, and concluded a lemon flavored pop tart would be good. Not too lemony. Maybe add a cream cheese flavor with it. Thoughts?
