Although I, like most UofL fans, selfishly wanted Coach Brohm to come take over the Louisville program, I am happy to see him honor his commitment to the Purdue program. In this day and age of commit/decommit, one-and-dones, and coaches job hopping...it's nice to see a guy honor the promises he made when he took over a program. This only raises my perception of Jeff Brohm as a coach and person. So, with that said, I will definitely be watching him and his career at Purdue and rooting for him to do great things. Congratulations to the the Brohm family and Purdue fans.

I couldn't agree more. I would have loved to had JB as HC but sometimes the timing isn't right for everyone involved. Congratulations to Purdue and the best going forward.

I'm fine with his decision and I'm confident VT will find us a good coach. Only thing I disagree with some folks on is the timing reasoning. VT just said in a interview it was pretty evident that JB didnt have the same level of excitement and 2 way interest as him. He should have said 2 weeks ago I hear the speculation and I'm not going to UL. Would have kept all this more civil across the board. Additionally, I am probably in the minority, but IMO this was his opportunity to come home and he didn't--I have no interest in him 3, 4, or 10 years from now. Go Cards!!!!!

It's a business and I get that. I'm OK with that too. What I'm not OK with is Jeff Brohm using his Alma Mater to fleece Purdue out of more money. You claim it was about loyalty and I respectfully disagree. It was about making more money even though he was already in the top 1% income bracket in the country.

It was about greed. Plain and simple. If it was about loyalty, he never would have agreed to sit down with Tyra. JMO.

It's a business. They work to position themselves to make career decisions they deem in their best interest for themselves and their families. They are all hired guns. Fans should understand that.

This is accurate, simply communicate with Louisville that you are happy in your current position and move along. Greed is what drove Jeff Brohm, pure greed.
