Wishing him a speedy recovery and all the best.

I guess he hasn't been out starting fights, partying, carrying girls on his back and faking it all like was reported by some idiot poster on here yesterday.

Wish him a speedy recovery, figured he would have had the surgery by now. That way he would have been further along come spring/summer camps.

He will have his hands full beating Johnson out next year. Drew is not very mobile, and he will be getting sacked a lot. You can bet that teams will be blitzing a lot when Drew is the QB.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

Tony Romo should be Drew's inspiration, as far as dealing with back surgery goes. Hope he get's back in the game this spring.

Johnson's done well being pressed into starting but I think we will stick with the Wildcat and Drew throws better. Would give us a better balanced o. Johnson can't run much because he's small and can't get hurt and tends to fumble. Hard for him to throw the intermediate and short stuff. Like him but I think Drew has a bigger upside if healthy. Back injuries are tough

Agree with this. I don't know what the future holds for Drew Barker but Johnson isn't a D-1 talent. He's stepped in and done a tremendous amount job but I question his limitations in the SEC.

Really? I would go as far to say he has been the most successful SEC QB UK has had since Andre Woodson,

Don't think you give enough Smitty credit for improvement thru the year, leadership, & potential to improve further. It's not like "he is what he is".

The bar is set really low there. I like Johnson on the deep ball but his accuracy on short and intermediate throws is not good. When he throws the ball on the out routes it tend to hang with no zip on the ball.

I agree he is not Tom Brady, who would you put in for him? Think Danny Clark or Gunner Hoak can be another Jalen Hurt? I would love to see him get better accuracy on short throws and blieve he will

Hartline was the most consistent...having his knee taken out in Columbia was a travesty. The dude took a lot of **** but knew where his pocket was and would take a hit. Loved the guy.

It has a lot to do with the fact we have a running game that put up better numbers (I believe) than Derrick Locke and Randall Cobb.

Another site's reporting he's had his back surgery and is on the road hopefully for a full and speedy recovery.
Whether Drew ever plays another snap for UK, I pray for a total & complete recovery for the young man! There are some things more important than a FB Game!!!

Yup. We have Gran and Hinshaw who are 2 of the best at what they do. If anyone can fix Smiths passing issues, its those 2.
