I thought the season one finale was a little lackluster, but I'm looking forward to it.

Agreed. It set the table for him to make the decision to be more Saul but that was about it. I still can't believe in reality a lawyer would have turned that sweet honey pot Jimmy fell into at the end of season 1, but I digress. It is a tv show.

I hope the series leads up to meeting WW then skips forward to Saul's new life after BB.

I confess this show stalled for me after 3-4 episodes. Did it get better, at least before the lackluster season finale?

I feel like the first season was pretty balanced in quality overall. If the first four episodes didn't draw you in, then it may just not be for you.

Even Breaking Bad started off slow with the first two episodes. Better Call Saul got better with each episode in the first season and I'm sure Vince G has big things planned for Season 2.

does anyone have a link to the season 1 opening scene when jimmy was defending the 3 boys in court? I have looked all over for that scene and can not find it. Any help would be appreciated. Broke a rib laughing at that scene. Awesome

I thought that was a pretty good start to season 2. It will be interesting to see where it goes.

Nothing about Breaking Bad was slow. It's the greatest series of all time.

I liked the premier. I thought the hotel scene was a good look into more of the transformation into Saul Good.

Wasn't a bad premier. I kind of expected a little bit more and to be left on the edge of my seat anticipating episode 2.

Decent first episode for season 2. I missed Mike in this episode though, can't wait until he starts working with Jimmy/Saul more.

I say her (Kim) screwing him over or rejecting him will be the final straw before he turns to the life of Saul Good.

or she gets killed by a cop
or maybe set-up / framed by HHM, somehow disgraced, career ruined.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no HHM in Breaking Bad, so at some point in the Saul series I'm expecting the big bad ABQ firm to be taken down for illegal activity, hopefully by Saul, maybe as pay-back related to something that happened to Kim.

I just finished rewatching the entire season on Netflix. In the final scene of Ep.10 Jimmy walks away from an opportunity with a legit law firm. It seems to be related to the week he spent back home reverting back to Slippin Jimmy and the death of his old friend. In that scene he talks to Mike about regretting not keeping the 1.6M. That's when he broke bad.

Watch the first episode of season 2 and revisit this theory

Ken that Jimmy screwed over in BCS last night is the same Ken that he blew up the car in season 1 episode 4.

Without a doubt the greatest series of all time, but the first two episodes are horrible in comparison to every single other episode in the entire series.

those first two episodes were super. something is wrong with you. a school teacher gets cancer and within two hours he's snuck his intel from a DEA agent, quit his job and told his Iranian carwash boss to suck it, made the greatest batch of meth known to mankind in a ****** RV, saw his pregnant old lady confront his new dope partner, killed two people, bathtub falling through Jesse's floor with acid soaked body, he knocked off a piece, he smoked some cool weed . . . yeah, something is seriously wrong with you, bro.

Sorry. Can u elaborate on this? I guess I missed something. I don't recall either scenario with a "Ken". Thanks
The guy that they got the free tequila from in last night's episode is the same guy that Walt blew up his car by putting the squeegee on his car battery in season 1.

I think that expensive Tequila they were drinking was the same Tequila Gus poisoned and gave to those cartel guys in Breaking Bad.

Agreed. I'll admit there were a couple of "slower/blah" episodes in season 1 compared to the rest but NOT the first two.
