It's amazing how different their games were. Berry bossed the first half then disappeared when it mattered, Tyus had a quiet first half and bossed the second half when it absolutely mattered. The difference is what makes champions.

That was Tyus' thing. He could have done more at any point but he often just ran the team (like Bobby Hurley did so well at Duke.) However when it came time to win the game, Tyus did his best work.

They went through a tourney getting a chance to play a 6 seed in the Elite Eight, a 10 seed in the final four, and avoid a one seed throughout the tourney. They still lost? They have no right to complain about anyone else's road to the FF ever again

I guess that would work. What I do know is that he should aspire to be half the player Jones was in college. Only he has 4 years to perfect it. Jones did it in one.
And how can recruits ignore that? Jahlil, Tyus and Winslow were in the same class as Pinson, Justin Jackson, and Joel Berry. The first three are gone, while the other three are still in school. Ain't nothing like Roy's player development

Yep, I'll take Tyus every time, but Joel Berry is a damn good player. Tyus kills him in court vision , passing and running the team , but still in all, Berry protects the ball well, doesn't make to many mistakes and shoots a nice 3 ball.

Berry is going to be a stud next season, IMO.
I think he was pretty darn good this year. Nowhere close to what Tyus was able to accomplish, but really good nonetheless. You are right IMO though, he will be tougher next year. He seems like the kind of kid that doesn't rest on his laurels. I expect him to be a pain the rear to Duke at east twice next season.
