We’re saying the same thing with Manning and Betts also..Man Betts and Palmer could be fun.
Yeah Betts showed potential. Manning hasn't shown anything. And well we know what palmer is.We’re saying the same thing with Manning and Betts also..
Manning who? We’re saying the same thing with Manning and Betts also..
Dude should have hung in there. All you got to do is show up to class, show up to the weight room, and show up to practice. Don't overthink it. One day at a time. Kick back once in awhile and let off some steam. And cash those NIL checks.he can get nonsence out of his system the rest of this year, then comeback next year and get focused bout a football career
Lol. No. I don't think he'll ever be back.he can get nonsence out of his system the rest of this year, then comeback next year and get focused bout a football career
I know one of his high school teachers who said he was a very nice and polite kid, but possibly the laziest kid they’d ever seen.Dude should have hung in there. the offences themselves aren't that big of a deal, its the implication surrounding his habits and inability to make good decisions. He was cited for speeding and had a misdemeanor warrant in Iowa for possession because he didn't show up for a court date. So to interpret, he got caught with weed in Iowa, got a ticket, didn't go to his court date, then 6 months later got popped for speeding in LaVista.
Not that big of a deal.
I don’t doubt he has had marijuana in his possession hundreds, if not thousands, of times. I would assume he has also driven outside the legal speed limit on many occasions. That would put him in a category that would likely include 80-90% of men 18-30.the offences themselves aren't that big of a deal, its the implication surrounding his habits and inability to make good decisions.
for minor offences, people rarely get caught their first time. in fact, people drive drunk an average of 80 times before getting.a DUI.
That kind of failure is not a good sign for life success. That’s kind of a big deal.He was cited for speeding and had a misdemeanor warrant in Iowa for possession because he didn't show up for a court date. True, may not be a big deal in legal terms but certainly points out that the guy has issues and was best that he left the team.He was cited for speeding and had a misdemeanor warrant in Iowa for possession because he didn't show up for a court date. So to interpret, he got caught with weed in Iowa, got a ticket, didn't go to his court date, then 6 months later got popped for speeding in LaVista.

Again, one time something has happened doesn’t make a pattern. If or until the exact circumstances come out, people are just speculating. That kind of failure is not a good sign for life success. That’s kind of a big deal.
Why didn’t you just hide in a closet?Over 30 years ago I decided not to show up to court for something, so the Omaha PD was kind enough to send me a personal escort to my front door a few weeks later and I got a chauffered ride. So that was nice.
Because you were still in the closet and hadn’t yet come out to your family. Why didn’t you just hide in a closet?
considering less than 50% of the population has even tried marijuana, and around 15% use it regularly, I'm gonna go ahead and say your assertion that 80-90% of men between 18-30 drive around with weed in their vehicle is probably closer to 5%I don’t doubt he has had marijuana in his possession hundreds, if not thousands, of times. The bigger issue is failure to appear or to pay the fine. That, to the best of my knowledge, has happened once.
So once again, sports fan and media want to hold a young man who decided he didn’t want to play football anymore, to some higher standard than every other person.
I don’t have his entire rap sheet in front of me, but the only poor decisions he seems to have made are failing to appear and choosing not to play football for your favorite football team. Hardly an indictment on his inability to make good decisions.
Is there a story with a mug shot photo for every failure to appear arrest in Omaha? Didn’t think so.considering less than 50% of the population has even tried marijuana, and around 15% use it regularly, I'm gonna go ahead and say your assertion that 80-90% of men between 18-30 drive around with weed in their vehicle. probably closer to 5%
i dont think anyone is holding him to a higher standard, its about identifying likely causes that led him to derailing his life.
no, because its typically losers that find themselves in that position. Is there a story with a mug shot photo for every failure to appear arrest in Omaha? Didn’t think so.
Why would they make him leave? He could have just chilled with FrostyWarrant was for drugs. Should shine some light on why we parted with him.
Troubled individual. Too bad he couldn't have made use of his physical talent.Should have stay enrolled. Arrested in Sarpy County.
We appreciate your attempt at sarcasm. But seriously, it would do the kid a world of good if he had a strong male mentor speaking truth into his life. Someone like Ron Brown.I need to have a talk with betts...
I'll explain the weed, is a bad deal over time, and it's good to be prompt with any legal issues
a degree can come in a might handy for job security
I'll show him what trey gets in nil, get matt davison on the phone
and the nfl pays even better in most cases..
I think I can make it clear to him the path forward,
and I'll talk to mickey bout second chances
and I'll do all of this as community service and won't accept a penny for it.
I'll just simply use sever logic for positive results.
well all I heard was about weed and missing a court date...then a few months ago about him being burned out on football...so I was just going from the info I got..and it did'nt sound real bad..geting a gal pregnant is a whole different deal..which I'm thinking just adds more need to get it together. I was kidding bout me talking to him, but I was serious bout the rest.We appreciate your attempt at sarcasm. A lot of young men get derailed in life and never get their act together. I used to have a big retail client in the south. They had a couple of chaplains for their chain just for the purpose of mentoring their young men. Guys that would get into debt or freak out when their girlfriend got pregnant for example. Things like that. The owner of the chain told me they really had good results with the program teaching them life skills.
