I had to return a shirt, and it's been 6 weeks with no refund. They've tried to say they didn't get it, it's not the same shirt, etc. I'm done with Amazon.

I ordered a game from amazon. The app alerted me that it had been delivered. I opened my front door to discover no game. Opened app to see the weird picture they send of the package. Picture was of some random location I could not identify. Called amazon and they decided to send another copy of the game I ordered:

The next morning the original order arrived mysteriously at my door. One day later the replacement arrived

Had a similar thing occur with Amazon. Got a Notification item was delivered ( No picture) but I did not receive. I figured somehow it had delivered to wrong address so I contacted Amazon. They sent me replacement item by Overnight delivery. Next day I had Replacement at the door then next day I got the Original order item.

I had the same issue as some of the above posters. what happened was the delivery guy marked it as delivered in order to make his deadline and then delivered it the next day.

Story 1: I bought an item I wasn’t thrilled with. Went to do the return steps. They said “nah. Keep it.” Gave me an immediate refund.

Story 2: I bought an item and the wife had bought the same. Went to do return steps. Printed label and took to the post office. The second that the postal worker scanned and dropped it in their bin, got a notification that I had a refund.

Story 3: Was having trouble with a toilet part that I had replaced about three years ago on another in the house. Casually mentioned to the wife that I was going to look through my old orders and see if I could find it. Opened up the app and it was on the front page.

Moral of the stories: You should just keep using Amazon. They’re great ... and they’re listening.

I would not think Amazon/UPS would put up with that.....
USPS on-the-other-hand????? They are terrible!!! Deliver to wrong address/mix mail/mail goes missing.

Every time I've returned something on Amazon, they refund as soon as it gets scanned in at UPS store.

My wife orders everything down to our toilet paper and tooth paste from Amazon and has for years and we've never had one issue.

Aside from a weekly trip to the grocery store we almost never do any shopping, which I always hated. (* Full disclosure. I bought Amazon stock biggly when it was $159 a share after wading through a sea of their boxes several Christmases back. I figured out that for tens of millions of people who hated shopping but loved stuff those damn boxes arriving would be like a mini-orgasm. )

Ordered some canted iron sights for my AR. A front and a rear. They sent two rears. I sent one back and was refunded for both. Ordered a front and still profited

Nobody's perfect all the time. It's impossible. I've ordered hundreds of things from Amazon over the years and can count on one hand the issues I've had. I'd say that's a pretty small percentage.

If you're looking for perfection from any company you'll be disappointed.

Amazon sent a Terminator to my house to deliver my order. Long story short, Nail one, Amazon Terminator 0.

The only problem I ever have is finding their contact number to actually talk to a person. Once connected, they are very responsive in resolving any issues.

I do think that they operate like casinos in that better customers get better customer service.

Sooo...what you’re saying is...that B Withers is a horrible customer thus he gets treated accordingly. If Amazon stole his shirt AND his money that means that B Withers is very likely the worst customer they have ever had...which means that PTI is more than likely correct in his aforementioned assumption above.

I got my TP as usual last Friday with no issues. Plenty to worry about with a low supply but it arrived early this and every month.

If you sent it in and didn't get a refund you didn't order it from Amazon, you ordered it from some rando using Amazon to sell things.

If it's sold and shipped through Amazon you get the refund as soon as you scan the bar code at the postal service.

About six years ago I accidentally signed up for Amazon Prime when ordering something. I called, and apparently there's a specific line just for that occurrence. Lady on the phone canceled it, refunded me immediately, and I've somehow had free Amazon Prime since then.

They're going to take over the world, but that's pretty solid.

I've heard some delivery drivers can't get all their packages delivered by the deadline and mark them as delivered so they don't get dinged by Amazon. Then they deliver them late but without a penalty.

My assumption is that you are an idiot, because you can't even spell your own name correctly

No, this was sold by Amazon. Not that it even matters, because they are fantastic

Just looked at my Amazon account, 166 orders in the last 6 months (numerous subscribe and save items). I'm sure my mailman despises me.

If my daughters away at school need books or whatever, I just buy it and get it delivered directly to them. Very convenient.

I'm sure my Amazon purchases are well over 1,000 over the years. Never had a problem with any returns I've made to Amazon, ever.

My biggest complaint is when they put something like a 12-pack of soups in with something like boxes of cereal in a big box with little or no padding, and the cereal boxes arrive looking like they were kicked around, and the cereal inside is somewhat pulverized.

Speaking of Alexa, do people think she's only listening for her name or is she listening to everything and recording it? I listened to the Joe Rogan podcast where he interviewed Edward Snowden, so it go me thinking.

I have one of the small Echo Dots in my bedroom. I'm just wondering if I should ramp up the showmanship when having a pickle tickle with the wife so that I can make sure Amazon employees are getting their proper jollies.
