If I am a shareholder of Amazon, I am heavily sketched out that the CEO is falling for a gold-digging jock chaser.
You're right to be concerned imo. This is a rookie life move. Too much at stake for a local news girl who's banged severel athletes. One of whom said it was pretty obvious she was a gold digger. Makes you wonder whether he really knows what he's doing or not?

People can be really smart in one area (in this case, business building) and really dumb in other areas (in this case, choosing a significant other).

Had a buddy bowl a 299 tonight. Man, that’s tough. Left the ten pin on the last frame of an almost perfect game.

Every other lane stopped for the last 2 frames to watch. Pretty cool. I wasn’t there just FYI.

If I was invested in Amazon I would sell all my stock based on that decision by Bezos.

I'm not faulting a playa for wanting to play. Dude has been with the same woman all his life and decides he's the world's richest dude and wants to have some fun, okay I get it. However, that's barely a lateral move.

Richest dude in the world with not a whole lot of obstacles to doing whomever, whatever, and having all the fun he wants. Could be Leo Dicaprio on steroids. Models, actresses, playmates from all over the world and half his age. None of them looking for anything serious or more than some time on a yacht and a few red carpets.

A C-list actress/media personality who's not even aging as well as the former Ms. Bezos who wants that ring and opportunity to walk away a few years down the road with billions more than she walked in with...

For someone who is supposed to be a visionary/genius, a decision like this that lacks any imagination or brains makes me wonder if he's just the face of Amazon and maybe there's some unknown silent partner who's really been the force behind the company.

If you'd had the inside knowledge of the affair on the day when it first began -- when the brainless, unimaginative decision was made -- you could have sold your AMZN stock that day at about a third of what it is worth day.

Plenty of companies to invest in.

Amazon is expensive with or without scandal and bad life decisions at the top.

For the price of one share, a lot of people can make a house and car payment. Others can buy 50,75,100 shares of other companies in their relative infancy with room and potential to grow.

Also, don't like Bezos' obsession with space. Good grief. If you have so much money you can start a space company and launch rockets then maybe instead of trying to colonize a planet and/or sell space adventures only a small percentage of uber rich will be able to afford you can use those billions to solve problems here on earth.

"Look what I'm doing in space"...yeah well, still lots of cancer, hunger, poverty, illiteracy here on earth...

Thanks for the financial advice. I bought AMZN in 2000 and feel pretty comfortable in my knowledge of the company. The idea that it is going to rise or fall on Bezos' shenanigans is a pretty facile and uniformed view of the company's prospects.

Yeah...you bought it when it was relatively affordable for most people with room to grow. Great.

I'm not advising you to do anything. I'm saying I'm not a buyer it's too expensive for me. I don't buy high or expensive.

You'd be surprised what can trigger the market these days, it's fickle. Somebody farts and it reacts.

I simply can't afford $1500-$2000 per share. Turmoil at the top ensures me that I probably don't need to try and force it.

I'll buy other things.

As a follow up, could you imagine a world where hot chicks get delivered SAME DAY via drone?

Make it happen Bezos.
