Anyone with info on possible ejections in this game? Bunker Hill vs North Iredell!
I heard about that today…skirmish on the field involving players…but…thats all I know.Anyone with info on possible ejections in this game? Bunker Hill vs North Iredell!
So 11 on BH and 11 on NIThat’s probably embellished quite a bit. BH fan was making an excuse for the game being close. Said all 22 players on field during kickoff was ejected.![]()
Depends if you can prove defense of personal health...my junior year we had both benches (and some fans) fight it out at the end of Starmount game (3rd RD playoff game). Starmount LB/RB #1 100% started it attacking Tommy Henry as the clocks hit 0. From there it was chaos.I talked to a guy who works Bunker Hill games. He said six Bunker Hill players were removed from the game and seven North iredell. He said that he doesn't know if they were disqualified or ejected.. he said they had to take off their pads and jerseys and sit on the sideline and that the refs huddled up for almost 30 minutes to figure out what to do. I personally have a hard time seeing them not ejecting the players for fighting and only disqualifying
Thank you my friend but annoying would probably fit better. Hope we can at least do that.I heard about that today…skirmish on the field involving players…but…thats all I know.
I will say…. I was a little surprised by this score….the Bear RB Willis jr. didn’t play….North Iredell seems to be even more improved….I think??…..considering the Bears beat them 42-0 last year.
Overall…hoping the Bears are at full strength next week….they’ll need it against those dreaded Wolves.![]()
I was at that game. I know tommy and Petey. I don't think there was any retaliation. The announcers even started saying don't do anything back we are playing next week. As far as Bunker Hill incident. A Bunker Hill player was holding a north iredell player on the ground during kick off and wouldn't let him up after kick off. Other iredell players say and came after Bunker Hill player and resulted in melee. I was told by friend he would characterize it as a fight. Afterwards players who were ejected where dancing on sidelineDepends if you can prove defense of personal health...my junior year we had both benches (and some fans) fight it out at the end of Starmount game (3rd RD playoff game). We had no disq. or ejection.
Best news I’ve heard all day!…hoping just a little pasture ball broke out! No harm. No foul.I'm being told one from each team was ejected the other players were disqualified. Nothing official just being told that but also was told nchsaa could look at it and consider the fight and overrule the calls. Was told when it comes to fight between two teams or a skirmish that a lot of things have to be determined before final call
Yes we do….heading out before daylight. To Maiden Creek: isn't this the week you and others head north for some powerhouse football ? I watched them on TV Saturday. Looked like a big diesel engine getting cranked up. They're liable to win it all, this year.
Sorry to hear that and wish them well. We have the Bears a week from tomorrow, there. Last year, they beat us 20-6. The score at halftime was 3-0, them, and at the end of the 3rd quarter it was 10-0. Their running game gave us trouble and we made a good effort. The same guy was telling me Bunker hills running back is out for the season with a cracked hip. their second string running back who is now the starter is dealing with some injury issues not sure how big of issues.
1 ejected from each team rest disqualified what I was told. But depends on nchsaa deciding if it was a fight or not. I personally think information is coming in slow because of the bye week really no reason to rush at the momentI wonder if there are any Bunker fans on here. I’m sure the players forced to leave the game were disqualified or you would be hearing more news. Never a dull moment in high school football .
