Biden has committed to forging "a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in America" in the first 100 days of his administration.
Trump should have done this.........It' a no-brainer.

There's already a pathway to citizenship by following the rules. Pedo Joe is basically saying he doesn't want to have a country.

There is.....but those 11 million are here, have been and are needed. President Trump should have done it. My position has zero to do with securing our borders and letting people just walk into our Country.

Come here legally, work legally on a green card for 5 years or whatever it is and then start the citizenship process and pay the fees. The same way every immigrant did it.

Yes......that is the best way.......but that is not the reality of what is here now. I have been in all parts of our Country and have seen these illegals working.......they are needed. It should have been taken care of before....but it was not....by both political parties.

They are ILLEGALS. They need to be deported and then get in line behind every other immigrant who's doing it the right way.

Laughable....get real. You actually think our government would round up 11,000,000 people and deport them....never would happen.

So you support breaking the law? I think I'm going to come over to your house and steal all your money since laws don't matter, apparently.

No........I would give them a chance and I would indeed deport any felons. You are aware that those 11,000,000 have been here for decades?

Yes.....where have you been? This is not a new problem. I say give the 11,000,000 a pathway to citizenship and implement true enforceable immigration policies and enforce them.

That's literally not even how the "process" works. There are tens of thousands of people who have legally been waiting for just a chance to start the process for over 10 years.

I wasnt sure how long the process is. I know a few folks I work with have done it and between theor work visa and their citizenship process it was 7-10 years total

Nothing wrong with making it legal for them to work and letting them pay taxes but having a job doesnt mean you go to the front of the libe to citizenship.

I doubt all 11,000,000 got her in the same fashion. We act as if ALL were brought here as infants and they grew up entirely within the USA. Then we have those who have flaunted our laws and come across as young to not so young adults and stayed (or, in some cases been send packing once, twice, more times and keep returning). While I accept that the first group had NO voice in their arrival and offer a certain amount of reality in their arguments that they ARE as much USA citizens as those born in this Country of citizens. I am also troubled that we are rewarding absolute fraud to this Country by pretending they are so innocent of personal misdeeds that the actions of their family should be ignored and forgotten. The latter multi-layered group has little to endear them. They came voluntarily, and may have repeated their arrogant, illegal act more than once. I see no reason for mercy and citizenship for these. We did not mention those who have committed serious unlawful acts besides their illegal entry. IMO, these should be deported or sentenced to time in prison and deported upon serving their time. In addition, anyone deported and then found once more to have entered illegally should be inmprisoned immediately for a substantial period.
Most of all, I believe every case must be considered in depth (not the manner in which China Joe appears to be proceeding). After seeing the story from each 'applicant' a decision is reached based on ALL related facts. Grant citizenship (after some wait period and with some limitations, such as a delay in voting privileges for National elections in particular, not generally applicable to those 'natural' citizens, allow them to remain but as guests (workers, students, etc.) but remain ineligible for citizenship, and any of the rights/privileges associated therewith, or send them packing with return to their native land or another Country who would accept them. I think with prudence exercised we greatly diminish the number of outright citizen grants approved. Trump has put forth a very reasonable plan regarding the legal entrance being based more on merit and ability to contribute more than they would take with elimination of the lottery and ability to drag in with them a host of relatives. <ake punishment severe for illegal actions, such as coat tailing with another family to get here at all as is the case with Ms. Omar (fake name of assumed family that assisted in getting her her initially).

Many do......I know for my business experiences across our Country..

I agree with your position, but this isn’t the right crowd to have this discussion because most have no clue other than illegal brown is bad....

I also agree with you that Trump should have done it, the reality is and has always been, that undocumented immigrant labor has always benefited GOP owned business and industries.....why do you think there aren’t more manufacturing or farm raids by the government and why no high level owners/executives are ever prosecuted......to your point, this labor is needed and in order for our economy to be highly successful, it’s required.....

And for the dipshit racists here....undocumented immigrants pay billions in taxes every year in this county....

I’m sorry, I’m just not into taking advantage of cheap minority labor through indentured servitude. So, what happens when they’re citizens? You have to pay them real wages and presumably, healthcare. So then what? Just bring in more undocumented illegals and start the cycle over again? You’re just creating an industry for the cartels and human trafficking. Anyone who has ever seen first hand what the cartels do to these people and still say they’re for what you say would be right at home at the slave markets or captaining the Amistad.

Then you disagree with the position of the GOP.....everything you said, is the exact reason they have always allowed the status quo to stand......cheap labor sources....

Correct, I depart from the GOP and side with Trump on this matter. And for the record, I’m also for DACA and as I’ve said, I’m for controlled immigration targeted to what benefits our needs as a society. We have all of the unskilled labor we could ever need and in a large quantity. They’ve just been sitting on their *** getting a check vs out there working.

Having had to get business visas and setup work visas for my teams in a host of other countries, what we do here is ridiculous.

Many employers pay them HIGHER than the going rate......since most of the locals cannot pass drugs tests and are just lazy. Healthcare might be a problem.

Do those employers pay paroll taxes on them though? I think if you are going to insist on a tax structure where employers have to pay taces to employ people they should not be alliwed to skirt those rules.

Now if someone wants to discuss getting rid of payroll taxes and business taxes altogether in a restructured system where all people including non citizen immigrants pay all of the taxes I think there is a way to do that.

Obama punted on this...Trump came into office and told the House to get a legal option available and he would sign it...nothing happened.
