A lot of parity at 157. Beating the national champ and staying undefeated should be enough to get that ranking, but he was also seeded correctly because of missing a substantial part of the season due to injury. It should all sort itself out shortly…

I hear ya but the staff needs to own it as well. I guess it could be argued this is why VV is wrestling but coaches are responsible for mental toughness, effort and conditioning in addition to technique.

The psychological aspect of coaching and getting kids to believe in themselves is where we fall short, IMO.
