Lmfao. So, the ONLY way you would say they wrestled well is if Ferrari, Peterson and Block beat the undefeated #1 seeds in the quarterfinals?
Even then, Ayala, Bailey, Caliendo and Kennedy have wrestled great.
Separate how you have felt all this season and then tell me honestly that you thought they would wrestle near this well today?
That doesn’t mean they’ve wrestled great. Just because they've wrestled better this weekend doesn’t mean a whole lot when the bar was as low as it was.

We’re in 5th place. I’m starting to think the reason you think we should be content with the status quo is you don’t respect the kind of program Iowa is and think we’re some second tier program. We’re not.

I don’t know about “juggernaut” but all evidence is that that he’s (logically) much stronger offensively at 174. He’s clearly more cautious at 184 and 197, and for good reason.
Also, whoever said he’s a 165 is an absolute buffoon. I’m too tired to look for that genius level post.

You talk and talk like you are an expert, but it’s easy to tell you’re full of crap. Your only response to others was that they must not have wrestled, or at least didn’t at a high level. If you are so knowledgeable because of your high level of wrestling and try to use that as evidence against other posters, post your wrestling credentials. If you won’t then stop the ******** acting like you are more knowledgeable than others. And even if you have wrestled at a high level, your’re still full of ****, and hiding behind that.

3 calls/no calls in that match against us. Questionable stall call or 2 in the Block svn match along with not allowing the brick, Ferrari singlet pullS not called along with no stalls against welsh, aj ferrari td against kueter. Safe to say we haven’t exactly gotten the favorable calls.
They had to wrestle 3 quarterfinals against #1 seeds and a #2 that was an NCAA champ. They aren’t in 5th right now because they are only wrestling like a 5th place team.
I knew this would happen, but come the f**k on. If you can’t see just how much better they are wrestling now compared to the regular season you are either blind, agenda driven or just flat out not bright…

I'm glad many of you don't work with me on a team that requires multitasking or multiple variables. Seems many can't seem to understand 2 things can be true at same time. 1) Overall, so far Iowa is performing well today given our team and associated expectations. Credit where credit is due. 2) Overall, our team is not what we expect it to be. Blame where blame is due. Practice test will be in an hour, to see who can chew gum and tie your shoes at the same time.

I owe you nothing. It’s not like I haven’t been outed on the boards over the years. I am speaking specifically to one match and how much more CONSTANT effort there was in this match vs. the rest of his matches. Not only that but he was wrestling against an energizer bunny that goes hard nonstop for all 7 minutes.
I am not making obersvations that are revelations. It isn’t that hard to see, if you know what to look for. If I bother you with my posts, too damn bad. If you don’t like me because of HOW I post, too damn bad.

Another typical deflection flipping to baseless insults instead of facts. It is incredibly easy to be a fan of the sport without truly knowing the sport. It is then even easier to hate on a team because you aren’t getting the result you want.
There is no way in hell a truly impartial observer that actually knows the sport would say that Iowa hasn’t wrestled WAY better so far this tournament than they have all year or even how ANYONE would have expected BECAUSE of the regular season.
Oh, and my mom’s been dead for almost 4 years and I never lived with her after high school, but I would happily do so now if it meant her coming back!
