Was shaking off an arm injury, hope just minor sprain they don’t want to chance getting worse.

Rather face Lockett again than Blaze. Beat him twice already as far as I'm concerned, even if the refs botched that 3 and 2 call the first time. And I'd like to see Mess and Blaze just for fun.
I'm sure he's a great kid, but I'm hoping I don't see him and a hanful of these other kids in an Iowa singlet ever again. Aside from Angelo and perhaps Gabe (and of course our stud seniors who are sadly departing us), I'd be good if I don't see the rest of this tourney's starting 10 in an Iowa singlet ever again. Just plain ugly...and I know it's not all their fault but wow...just ugly. Why can't we get us more Mikey C''s...damn, gonna miss that kid!!
This is what I said in our group chat earlier. I hope Caliendo gets Lockett - his gas tank is terrible and he wanted nothing to do with Mikey last match.

To lend a bit of perspective, Iowa is in a conference where one team routinely puts 5 in the National Finals.
Why would anyone want to go watch the psu dual next year??? To see if we get shut out completely?
Who was the one to say it several weeks back? I think the quote was "burn it all!" I'm right there with him...boot everyone and start fresh next year. I'd rather take 2-3 years of pain rebuilding than watching this sh*t one more day!! This is a horrible product...and it's been that way during every dual against quality teams. I can't believe this is where we're at.
I know it's horrible to say but I don't want some of these guys to qualify. We've already put on an embarrasing performance; why TF do we want to do it again on an even larger stage. Send 4 or 5 to NCAAs and let the rest relax at home so those of us who watch don't have to scream and throw and break shi*t. .

F**k, all of our guys have shown offense against much weaker opponents. When up against quality opponents there was very little offensive or agressive by Arnold unless Wrestlestat info is incorrect.

Block was pissed because he wanted them to throw the brick, but they didn’t want to. They finally decided to throw it after almost a full minute of Block insisting they throw it. He finally headed back to center and they then threw it. Official told them they waited too long to challenge and denied it.

Honestly there is a part of me that wants Iowa to finish 7th. That is the part that is disgusted with what TnT have let this program become. I do however want the kids to be rewarded with a trip to nationals. While the results haven’t been what we all wanted, these kids do work hard to earn these opportunities. I will always cheer on the kids. I find It ironic that Gabe was suspended from the team, yet he has been one of the best representatives of what it means to be a Hawk this year. Hope he punches his ticket.
I didn't see him 'clearly injured'. If he was that is one thing but to drop out after losing on the front side without issues is quite another.

If Block was the same guy he was around national dules, SVN would have lost by 2 take downs and Block would be a title contender. Instead we are just hoping he can qualify for the tournament. Crazy. Unfortunately I think this is the real Block, not the guy wrestling out of his mind for a month in early season
Was he pulling Mantanona’s singlet at key moments? But Angelo definitely wasn’t the pre injury guy. I think his confidence has been damaged by that 1st loss to Rocco followed by probably his first injury of his career that sidelined him that long.
And going up the against the likes of Nowhere State and obscure D3 schools. Wait until OK sate and other relevant schools have programs...
For crissakes, the women are fighting it out against the likes of McKendree? and other tiny schools. Honest question. If I was a woman, Iowa vs the rest of the field? Currently it's Iowa by a mile. So as far as I'm concerned, the women should have 10 national champs until real schools have programs.

Because it’s the marquee dual for college wrestling the last decade and the atmosphere is wild. But you are right, it’s changed the last three or so years because we can’t compete anymore.
Even I understand the landscape of women’s wrestling better than this. And that’s saying something.
It’s sort of irrelevant. Not to say attendance won’t be down, but Iowa will host ISU and Okie State which will be good draws.
