Wouldn't bring his name up today. Bengals fans at our Super Bowl party blasting him for his critical drop.
He should have made the catch, but I've always felt that you win as a team and lose as a team. If the Bengals were up by three TDS, the drop isn't up for discussion. If he makes the catch, who knows what follows?

That being said, if Bengals fans want someone to dump on, my candidate is Eli "Baked" Apple. Seems I'm in good company with that sentiment.

They could harp on the O-Line for giving up too many and untimely sacks.

He would have been a wide receiver if he had good hands. Not for nothing but Boyd's drop seems just as critical at the end of the game to extend the drive and keep the Bengals ahead.

It sucks what happened to the Big 33. The game is still alive but it’s a matter of time I think. The talent has taken a huge drop in recent years.
