There’s this thing you can do when something ain’t broke……..
Please don’t add continuation. That is one of the worst aspects of NBA.
I also don’t think 1 coach’s review challenge is enough, unless you got another if it was ruled in your favor.
The game of college basketball is broke as heck. The games taking 2.5 to 3 hours due to refs going to the review so much is the dumbest thing I have seen in basketball. If you like the way the games flows good for you. I would rather watch paint dry on the wall instead of the last 4 minutes of an aired college basketball game. Worst product on the market. There’s this thing you can do when something ain’t broke……..
The college game was much better off before we started monitor reviews. The obsession with " getting it right"( placating the millions gambling on games) has made college basketball unwatchable. The one challenge rule is a much needed change. As for the rules designed to make college game more like the NBA I hate them all, because I hate NBA basketball. I have tried watching NBA playoffs this year ,talking about unwatchable. Blatant walking on nearly every play, guys jacking up 60 threes a game and missing most of theM,brutally inconsistent officiating. Guys like Jocic Allowed to hack, push defenders our of way nothing called. I'd rather watch flies copulate. I loved the college game because it wasn't the NBA
But we wouldn’t be “screwed” out of that review. Instead it would theoretically be our own damn fault for having done a bad challenge earlier in the game. A coach who picks the right plays to challenge doesn’t lose his challenges.I hate the long reviews too, but if we get screwed out of a review because we don't have a challenge and it's an obvious eff up by the refs, I'm gonna be pissed.
It says you would retain if successful. Please don’t add continuation. That is one of the worst aspects of NBA.

And it really seems like they only review the easier calls that they get right and hardly review things that there's a legit chance they got the call wrong.Man, CBB is broke in terms of these awful video reviews. We had a tournament game take nearly an extra 45 minutes to play like what....4 minutes? It was AWFUL.
Make sure that basketball terrorist Buzz Williams can’t hurt players and peoples schedules any longer!

I taped a least five games during SEC play that were almost 3 hours long.Man, CBB is broke in terms of these awful video reviews. We had a tournament game take nearly an extra 45 minutes to play like what....4 minutes? It was AWFUL.
So through history of NCAA basketball, before the review, do you think the amount of missed calls was 50% or better? It is like the knee jerk reaction, probably to a call that went against DUKE, UNC that started the whole thing. It is easy, one review per coach per half. Goal tend is always a review and not counted. If a ref makes a mistake, a coach asks for the review and wins, he keeps his review. If the coach asks for the review and it is found to be a good call then the team loses a time out and the review for that half is over. If you do not review in the first half you can use in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half but do not get to keep if used in the 2nd half. The other review in the 2nd half has the normal rules. If a coach asks for a review without a time out and loses the review then it is 2 free throws and the ball for the other team. Players on the floor have to stand on the court across from the opposite teams bench and cannot have contact with coaches. Eliminating all the extra free time outs for coaches.I do think reviews need to be limited on time but when they limit the number of reviews to just challenges or whatever its going to lead to more terrible calls sticking and more ways for refs to have an excuse to be bad...on purpose if you believe that or not ..cough gambling cough
Less monitor reviews? All for it.
Quarters? Fine, honestly. Halves are just nostalgic.
A rule change I never see mentioned but would favor: eliminate individual foul outs. Puts way too much power in the refs hands when they can pick and choose which players to send to the bench.

It’s broker than broke. A conference mid week game is nearly unwatchable. The product honestly sucks. I hate the nba but much cleaner version of basketball compared to collegeThere’s this thing you can do when something ain’t broke……..
Well, 4 quarters suck. Waters down second and 3rdMan, CBB is broke in terms of these awful video reviews. We had a tournament game take nearly an extra 45 minutes to play like what....4 minutes? It was AWFUL.
I feel the opposite. I don’t like situations where the rules incentivize fouling, which is what currently exists in college. I think the game actually improves if the defense doesn’t have the option to stop easy baskets by hacking just before the shot goes up if they get beat on a play. Please don’t add continuation. That is one of the worst aspects of NBA.
Yeah, but thats on the added rules that shouldnt have been added, and on the refs. College basketball was fine til all the rule changes. Only way to fix it is reduce instant replay to goaltends or flagrant plays. Hold referees accountable to anyone, period. Do that and the games will be much better. Start calling the game how the rules say to.NCAA bb games used to take 1:50. Now they take three hours. It's INSANE.
Foul and then take 3-4-5 steps and shoot. F*** no!!! That should not be rewarded as an and-1.I feel the opposite. I believe you’d also retain the challenge based on my reading of that article.Retain your timeout
So you want to see more of those boring slogs where a little guy offers itself up as a sacrificial lamb just for the paycheck?Biggest change I would like to see is being able to add 2 or 3 more regular season games. Want to help the little guys out? Have another buy game or two from the power teams.

I’ve got no problem with that. If a coach wastes everybody’s time with a frivolous challenge then he can deal with the consequences.
Needs to go to 6 fouls like the NBA.Only problem is these SEC teams would absolutely maul us every game. Couldn’t imagine playing Georgia or Tennessee when they don’t have to worry about foul outs. I get the principle but gotta leave it. Unless there’s a really good deterrent. I’m never in favor of many rule changes though, men just make things worse when they try and fix it.
