I like that as a nickname (and at 6'4" it is kinda true). Whatever nickname he ends up with, let's hope it is better than "Frosty".

"Frost" in and of itself is perfectly fine. No need to make it cutesy with "Frosty". Whereas, with a name like Hoiberg, a nickname is pretty necessary.


I'm sure once we lose a couple games his first year this board will come up with plenty of nicknames.

Of course Mayor has been his nickname at ISU. During his interview at the Spring Game by the local media a fan yelled down from the stands "Governor" and Fred smiled and glanced upwards so it seemed he enjoyed that, quite the upgrade from Mayor.
