Tonight is the lid lifter of the final weekend at the ole Cliff. Sean Hjelle vs Konner Pilkington, righty vs lefty. Former UK coach in the MSU dugout, former UK coach as the AD for MSU.
Lots of festivities, several former UK coaches throwing out 1st pitches, and lots of photos, give aways, and field related activities.
But, besides all that, a crucial series that UK needs to win, hopefully even sweep. Can't win all 3 if you don't win game 1, so here's hoping the team is primed, and focused this weekend !!

Big win for the Cats - winning game 1 of the series against MissSt.

Somehow - without Lewis and Haake - the Cats have got to find a way to get another win this weekend. We need Thompson have an efficient 5-6 innings tomorrow - if we can get that many out of him - as I assume his pitch count won't go very high.

‪Nick Mingione says Justin Lewis will not pitch this weekend due to a forearm/elbow strain. Not serious, but they aren’t taking chances this late in season. Sunday starter depends on how Thompson throws Saturday and bullpen usage. ‬
