Big Green Egg Recommendations

I'm considering buying a Big Green Egg. What size and extras should I consider? I grill the usual plus smoke ribs, butts, briskets ,chicken and do whole top rounds. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I'm not certain if it comes with it or not but you will definitely need the pizza stone for the egg..

I am by no means an egg expert but I think the large would be perfect for a family and friends. Stone Cold is the man is definitely a man to ask.

sorry for the late reply.......

did you end up getting one? A large is usually sufficient. The XL is just so damn big and uses so much charcoal. So unless you are feeding a family of like 8, I'd get the large.

Whole top round? How does that turn out?

I've done lots of briskets and butts, but never a whole top round...you feel like sharing some directions?
