Football season is on its way in just curious as to who to keep a look out on at qb this year and who could be putting up potentially big numbers in 1A this year. We all have heard about the running backs but lets get the qb pot stirring!!!

i've heard swains qb has potential to be the best in the smc. I do have to say the kid isn't afraid to take a hit after he takes off. Some of his receivers were wide open last year though and ended up as missed opportunities be interesting to see this young man transform this year.

Boaz and Gosnell will have bigger years while splitting time than any SMC QB will in those old wing offenses.

I think the Robbinsville QB will be among the best smc QBs this year.
Lets take a look inside the mind of ole BK . I hope you’re right but how did you come to this conclusion? He’s never taken a varsity snap other than a little 4th quarter clean up. He’s got the size 6’1 and around 200 lbs a good arm ( used sparingly). Enlighten me brother!!!!!!

Right now he's as accurate as any qb we've had in a long time ...in 7 on 7 with no pass rush or pads poppin..now let's see what he does under pressure...changes everything

That sounds great but like you said it’s a little different under fire. Keeping him out of 3rd and long will be key. Throwing when you want to and when you got to is two different animals. I do know he’s a great kid and deserves good things. It certainly helps having Anderson and Hooper to hand off to. He’ll also have a well coached line with experience in front of him. All the ingredients for success are there just put it together.

Good WRs
Good line
Good backs
And Hooper is basically another receiver. I think he had the most catches.
The QB looked clean and fast in his movements. He didnt look 6'1" 200lbs though. I wouldve guessed 6' 180.

Holden Poindexter thru for 3000 plus last year as a sophomore, loss of green brothers and shift from the spread to another offense will see those numbers down quite a bit, but still expect to see him toss it for 1500 plus

2 players down for Hayesville the Big TE/DE and another lineman before season ever starts hoping its not a injury bug like last season

Hayesvilles big DE/TE practiced yesterday so the injury while may make him miss a game or two doesn't appear to be long term. The lineman that's hurt is was a backup and while depth helps it won't hurt them too much.

Murphy's new QB Rumfelt should put up some good numbers with a good line in front of him and at least 3 quality wrs to pitch it to......
