That’s likely the strategy. With the extra year, the number of HS takes is going to go down across the board.

That’s one of if not the best club team. Great to get more guys from there.

So far B1G lax recruiting falling way behind ACC and Ivy. Good news is there is still a ton of talent available, but from what I’m hearing ACC schools b/c of smaller classes (approx 8) plus w/ UNC every athlete automatically gets in-state tuition= end result is it’s free rides across the board. With Ivies apparently kids don’t want to deal with transfer portal BS constantly looking over their shoulder so jumping on offers from any Ivy and figure they will just play 5th year somewhere to try and win a championship. All in all, I expect some flips coming because kids are taking first offers. I also have to believe that some kids will realize there’s only 1 ball so stacking multiple top players at every position means there will be a lot of 5* kids riding the bench. Curious to get other thoughts…?

We’ve been hearing this every year for 20 years. Then the games get played. Acc teams stack talent. They always have. It’s nothing new. The real battles will be when Ivy grad students become available.

So where did your son go? You said you’d post it after the school year started.
