With Maryland losing, we still have a path to 6th whether Indiana or Michigan wins.

Iowa wins, Indiana wins, RU wins
1) Purdue 2) Iowa 3) Indiana 4) MSU
8/9) ILL/NW 7) MD 6) Rutgers 5) Michigan

Iowa wins, Michigan wins, RU wins
2) Iowa 3) Michigan 4) MSU
8/9) IND/ILL 7) NW 6) Rutgers 5) Maryland

Iowa loses, IND wins, RU wins
2) Ind 3) MSU 4) Iowa
8/9) NW/RU 7) ILL 6) MD 5) Mich

Iowa loses, Mich wins, RU wins
2) Mich 3) MSU 4) Iowa
8/9) ILL/IND 7) NW 6) RU 5) MD

Only bad path is Iowa and Mich losing

Wisc and Minn only affects 11/12

Refs basically give the game to Illinois. Edey shoves Mayer and should have been flagrant and they don’t even review and then driving to hoop Shannon gets slapped and no call

You mean the missed call on the Shannon drive. That was definitely a foul. Big 10 refs screw up again. I think that is what you meant ?

When we beat Northwestern to be 11-9
it drops Northwestern to 11-9.
Maryland is 11-9.
Illinois is 11-9.
We would be 3-1 vs. those three teams.
Both Michigan and Indiana are 11-8 so one will be 12-8 and the loser 11-9.
We want Iowa to beat Nebraska to be 12-8, removes our 0-2 vs. the Hawkeyes from any pod record.
So top three: Perdue, Iowa and winner of Michigan-Indiana.
We are 1-1 vs. Indiana, 0-1 vs. Michigan.
If Indiana loses they join the 11-9 five team pod. We would be 4-2 vs. the other 11-9 teams.
Would we really be third of the five to end up the six seed?

If Michigan wins we end up 3-2 in the pod.

EDIT Crap: forgot Michigan State at 11-8

I think you’re forgetting about MSU who will also be above us so zero chance at double bye if Iowa wins. In that scenario/pod though I think Maryland would also be 4-2 and the others would be below us.

Not looking great for Iowa though right now
