It's crap. I totally understand the $$$ aspect and TV but you have to let the HS have Friday nights....
Jim Delaney, and the BIG Presidents could care less about HS football.

Will this even affect HS attendance? If your a parent, your going to go watch your kid play. If it's a big game against a big rival, and you're a parent at the school, you're going to go watch the HS game.

But if you have no stake in the HS game, would you go anyways? I walked by Naperville North when they were playing NV a month ago and the home side was 60% full. 2 State ranked teams btw at the time.

Could things be different in other parts of the country? Sure, around here? IDK.

And the only teams they are going to put on Friday are Illinois, NW, Purdue, Indiana, Maryland, Rutgers. Not a chance MSU, Iowa, Ohio State, PSU, Wis are on there in 2017-2018.

Why not schedule more Saturday night games? Who the hell wants to go to a football game at 11 a.m. on a Saturday?

Dumb decision by the Big 10, but this is the same league that took a money grab by adding Rutgers and Maryland so...

This move will be a big boon to the MAC schools IMO.

Totally agree with this one.
It's a bit hard to tailgate at 7:00am...
Problem is they are slaves to BTN broadcast times, which is what give you the early start times.

Why?
