Like to conduct this excercise to get a sense of who is hot and who is not going into the BTT:

Last 10:

  1. Purdue 8-2:
  2. MSU: 7-3
  3. Wisky 7-3
  4. PSU 7-3
  5. Michigan 6-4
  6. Maryland 6-4
  7. Iowa 5-5
  8. Indiana 5-5
  9. Illinois 5-5
  10. Ohio St. 4-6
  11. Minny 3-7
  12. Rutgers 3-7
  13. Nebby 3-7
  14. Us 1-9
Last 5:
  1. MSU 4-1
  2. Purdue 4-1
  3. Wisky 4-1
  4. Indiana 4-1
  5. PSU 4-1
  6. Michigan 3-2
  7. Maryland 3-2
  8. Minny 2-3
  9. Rutgers 2-3
  10. Iowa 1-4
  11. OSU 1-4
  12. Illinois 1-4
  13. Nebby 1-4
  14. Us 1-4
Observations:
  1. Penn St. just absolutely leaps off the page on the positive side. I really do think that, with the first round bye they have an decent shot of winning the BTT.
  2. Though not as pronounced as Penn St. Iowa is definitely the team who is playing the worst of those in the top half. And they were beyond lucky not to be 3-7 in their last 10...
  3. We received about the best draw we could possibly hope for
Will be interesting to see how these trends play out. SOS is not factored in, but is probably less important this year in such a loaded BIG where every game is tough...
