At the very least Beth needs to force Tom’s hand to bring in different assistants. If he’s not willing to do that, well then it’s time for a change. And “outperforming” our seeds to finish 4th instead of 7th shouldn’t change anybody’s opinion about all the problems we have at iowa wrestling.

Yep. I always liked semis on their own so I could pull up the one I wanted to watch. We will get split screen garbage with all the commentary on whoever PSU that's wrestling.
I realize it wont happen but would be nice if we got more positive comments and hope for our Hawks at least prior to the BT and Nattys before we begin the burn it all down shift.
A lot of you guys need to take a deep breath and spend the next 2 1/2 weeks watching the Hawks/wrestling before it is done for 6 months again. Funnel all your negative energy on too the Hawks opponents.

Would have liked to see Peterson get the 7, but I'm fine with everyone else. Angelo has to beat Welsh and Mac either way so it is what it is. Levi being the 1 helps PK as that is the guy he doesn't want to meet before the finals. MC at the 2/3 is a wash. Strap up men because Iowa didn't do themselves any favors going into B10s. Tom better have these guys peaking or it will get ugly quick. Highest seed on the team is a 3 while PSU has 7 ones and a 2?! That is brutal.
Caliendo getting bumped down to 3 also probably gets Iowa an extra 1.5 bonus points, or you would hope. Kennedy getting the 3 vs the 2 actually helps as well.
Block should win first round but don't expect him to win in quarters. Hope he has it in him to fight hard in consis. Likely same scenario with Voinovich. I expect Rocco and Angelo to be tight again but believe either would wrestleback to a third place finish, all depending on Angelos mobility and conditioning.
Same here. Arnold will have all he can handle with Geog in the quarters though. Geog is a big, strong 97, definitely don't want to get underneath him either in leg attacks or riding position.
Kennedy was already 3. Moving Haines to 1 will help Kennedy.
I kind of wonder if Bouzakis got moved to the 2 so TnT just decided not to challenge Dean’s seed. Maybe they like his chances against Luke better

Can someone with the statistics of wrestlers Iowa has brought to the team and show how they have performed. Eireman, Caliendo are two that I recall really delivering for the team
Desanto, Buchanan, Lugo, Parco (prior to being injured in match at NCAAs) the list goes on
I agree, Tom’s communication skills is basically worthless. He offers little to no salient information. I mean come on man, you’re not protecting national secrets. And why does the team seem to be suffering such injuries. Could it be you (Tom) have worn these guys out and they’re just suffering mental exhaustion? As a fan I always feel like his pressers give very little insight to the program.
