The Dribble Drive podcast has started their Big Ten WBB previews. The podcast is by the IU and MSU radio guys (they’re not big Iowa fans, usually). They do 2 teams per podcast and have extended interviews with each head coach about their teams. Many of the BIG coaches are enjoyable to listen to.

The first episode was MSU and UCLA. Since then they have done Illinois and Nebraska, Minnesota and Maryland, and Michigan and Oregon.

I listened to this podcast before last season and they really do a nice job with their talks with the coaches.

Once the season starts they do a podcast episode about once a week recapping past week and previewing what's coming up. These are the episodes where their allegiances show a little (to be expected), but overall they do a nice job.

Trying to keep a list of season-ending injuries for B1G players this season.

1) Sofia Bell - Oregon
2) Lena Bilic - UCLA
3) Tori McKinley - Minny

Anyone recall someone else I missed?

Looks like Zoe Jackson of Indiana is another not listed so far. It's weird the host of The Dribble Drive (Austin Render) is a Hoosier fan, iirc. How did he forget her?

That's 7 on 18 teams we know so far. 2 more and you're at 50/50 chance of losing 1 player to a significant or season-ending injury.

Knock on wood, but Iowa's had several years like this where we had more than one player out with a season ending injury

Louisville preseason #7 in AP poll.

Yep, I understand that. Did the avg ranking on both teams for all rankings after the major portal players shuffled just to get an inkling on the expected outcome of a #7 vs #19. Expect this to be closer to ~5 pt game.

One site had OSU @ #12 and Louisville @ 8.
One site had OSU @ #13 and Louisville @ 10.

Guess that's why the score would hurt a bit if you're a OSU fan. But again, it's preseason and a drunken coach is entitled to make a bunch of impaired decisions this time of year. ;)
