My goodness are they high on PSU. Big time pressure on Nits…as it seems like a huge drop off after this year…and recruiting is not backfilling with same level of talent…so will have to develop and have superior in-game coaching. Not something that has been our thing since the late 1990s.

Superior in-game coaching hasn’t been our thing since the mid-1980s, to be truthful. Penn State suffered some horrendous losses throughout the 1990s, due in large part to our in-game coaching shortcomings. I believe it all started with a bad loss to Wisconsin and Barry Alvarez in 1995.

I just rewatched this again. They were just gushing about the offensive and defensive lines. They said the future at both looks bright as the young guys look good also. We haven’t heard that in a while. As we know, overall success is won or lost in the trenches.
