Receivers can’t get open is mine. This is likely due to a combination of lack of athleticism and poor coaching. Unfortunately, this is not fixable without dramatic changes, and likely unfixable this season

Inexplicable bad decisions by our high profile, 5th year QB. That was some Hilinski/Johnson stuff out there. I think TU had like 20 points off his avoidable turnovers. Probably would have lost anyway, but if he throws away/takes sacks on those 5 TOs, it's more like a 10 pt game

Stop being lazy. This should have been a poll.

And the most obvious one going into the portal season.

I mean, what is he supposed to do when no one is open, throw it away? Then you would be complaining that he is inaccurate.

Having no one to open up the defense, no one who can get open and a below average offensive line is a recipe for disaster, no matter if you had tom Brady back there.

This team has a talent deficiency that no amount of scheming can fix.

To answer your first question: yes. He should have thrown the ball away instead of throwing 4 interceptions. That would have given us a much better shot to compete in the game.

I agree with your points about the talent deficiency. I’ll even put Stone’s two fumbles on the offensive line because he was blindsided on both… but the interceptions are squarely on him.

A 5th year senior should know better. Hopefully we’re not paying over a million for this piss-poor play.

Again, if he threw the ball away you would complain about his decision making and accuracy. Yes, throwing it away is better than an INT but it still doesn’t address the problems I mentioned.

Botton line, this staff can’t attract enough talent.

His second fumble, the ball just came out of his hands.

Instead of turnovers, Id rather he kill the drive and let our only true weapon (Akers) do his thing
