Lots of questions for sure as we get closer to Kickoff 2017 for the Chicago Public League. Below are some of my top questions for the CPL entering the 2017 season. Agree? Disagree? Did I miss some? Post them here.

Will Phillips be 3A in 2017? Can they win a state title in either 4A or 3A?

How good will Simeon be in 2017?

Who steps up and makes a move? Solorio? Al Raby? Brooks?

Can the CPL get more than 1 team deep in the IHSA state playoffs this fall?

The HC at Westinghouse for the last few years is now at Kenwood along with his entire coaching staff.

Michelle Clark is expected to win its conference and Al Raby should have a better year in 2017. Morgan Park has some major question marks due to their coaching change.

The new coaching staff at Westinghouse has had some success at Douglass where they won the conference and led a team to a state playoff

How long will the lines be at both the ticket booth and gates due to late-arriving sales and security staff? How about it those of you who have attended high-profile playoff games at that venue? Arrive early, buy a ticket and relax in the stands? Think again, bucko!
